Learning Center Module Overview

The Learning Center module acts as a centralized hub for self-paced learning, enabling users to access, complete, and track progress through assigned learning courses. By integrating courses with assessments and other modules like Campaigns and Workspace, it supports knowledge acquisition and insight development while providing features like report generation and detailed course overviews.

 


Key Features and Functionalities

1. Assigned Learning Center Courses

  • Purpose: Help users manage their learning by organizing and filtering assigned courses.
  • Capabilities:
    • View and Filter Courses:
      • Users can access all assigned courses in one place and filter them based on preferences or requirements (e.g., completion status, category, etc.).
    • Course Details:
      • Clicking on any course displays:
        • The course's content and objectives.
        • Information on the assessments and materials it includes.

Steps to View and Filter Courses:

  1. Navigate to the Learning Center module.
  2. Browse the list of assigned courses available on the dashboard.
  3. Use the filters to organize your courses based on desired criteria.

 


2. Starting a Course

  • Purpose: Allow users to begin and engage with assigned learning courses through linked assessments.
  • Capabilities:
    • Get Started Button:
      • Users simply click the Get Started button to begin a course.
    • Linked Content-Type Assessments:
      • Courses include one or more content-type assessments that users must complete to finish the course.
    • Completion and View Mode:
      • Once a user completes an assessment:
        • The status (e.g., "Completed") is displayed in the top-right of the assessment card.
        • Assessments are switched to View Mode for subsequent access, allowing users to review their responses or study material.

Steps to Start and Complete a Course:

  1. Select the course you want to start from the course list.
  2. Click the Get Started button.
  3. Complete the linked content-type assessments by answering questions or reviewing materials.
  4. After completing the assessment(s), revisit it in View Mode to review your work or study content further.

 


3. Report Integration

  • Purpose: Allow users to download reports summarizing their assessment progress, where applicable.
  • Capabilities:
    • Linked Report Templates:
      • If a report template is tied to the assessment group (specifically for Learning Center courses):
        • PDF Download Button will appear for assessments.
    • Downloadable reports enable users to track their progress or share reports externally.

Steps to Download Reports:

  1. Complete the linked assessments in the course.
  2. If a report template is available, locate the PDF Download Button (usually adjacent to the assessment card or completion status).
  3. Click the button to generate and download the report for that assessment.

 


4. Integration with Other Modules

  • Purpose: Leverage features in other modules to enhance the learning and assessment experience.
  • Integrations:
    • Campaigns Module:
      • Courses and their linked assessments can be launched through campaigns to assign learning tasks or track larger learning initiatives.
    • Workspace Module:
      • Users can manage, save, and respond to assessments linked to their courses through Workspace, offering a streamlined way to handle assigned tasks.

Example Workflow:

  1. A company launches a learning campaign through the Campaigns module that assigns courses to specific user groups.
  2. Users manage and complete their assigned assessments within the course using the Workspace module.
  3. Completed responses and progress data sync to the Learning Center module for monitoring and report generation.
