2FA Setup and Login Process - Customer Users

All users are required to enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) to enhance the security of their accounts. While you can initially set up your account without 2FA, it will be mandatory to activate 2FA during your next login. This step is crucial for protecting sensitive data and ensuring compliance with security standards such as GDPR.

Choosing Your 2FA Method

Our app supports two methods for 2FA:

  • Authenticator App (e.g., Google Authenticator, Authy)
  • SMS-Based Authentication

Note: You can select only one method at a time; both cannot be used simultaneously.

Setting Up 2FA

During setup, select your preferred method:

  • If choosing Authenticator App, you will see a QR code on the screen.
  • If choosing SMS, you'll be prompted to enter your mobile number.

Authenticator App Setup:

  • Open your authenticator app and scan the QR code provided.
  • If the QR code doesn't scan, use the alphanumeric identifier displayed below it to manually add your account in the app.

SMS Setup:

  • Enter your mobile phone number.
  • Make sure to select your country code from the dropdown menu to ensure correct delivery of SMS codes.

Logging In with 2FA

  • After enabling 2FA, each subsequent login will require you to enter a security code.
  • Depending on your chosen method:
    • Authenticator App: Enter the current code generated by your app.
    • SMS: Enter the code sent via SMS to your registered mobile number.

Important Tips

  • Keep your authenticator app secure and backed up.
  • Ensure your mobile number is correct and up-to-date for SMS.
  • If you experience issues, consult the troubleshooting section of this guide or contact support.

Enabling 2FA significantly enhances the security of your account by adding an extra layer of protection beyond your password.
